Why this practice exists

Most advice is built for one season of life. People live through several.

Living Waters Financial Services works with people who are living in retirement, people who can see it from here, and people who are still deciding what they are building toward. Those are not three different firms. They are three points on the same line.

What changes between them is which questions come first — not who answers them, and not how carefully.

You don’t have to pick a lane to get started.

Every part of the work below matters to both people. What differs is what it means to you right now — so here it is, said both ways.

Income and cash flow

Near or in retirement

Turning what you saved into a paycheck you can count on, and knowing what happens to it in a bad year.

Still building

Deciding what each dollar is for before it arrives, so saving stops competing with living.

Investments

Near or in retirement

Holding enough growth to outlast you without holding more risk than the plan needs.

Still building

Using the one advantage you have that cannot be bought back later, which is time.

The decisions that arrive uninvited

Near or in retirement

A parent needs help. A business is sold. The date moves. The plan should already know what to do.

Still building

A job changes. A child arrives. A house appears. Each one quietly rewrites the next five years.

What you leave behind

Near or in retirement

Making sure the people you care about inherit a plan, not a filing cabinet.

Still building

Getting the basics in place early, while it is a short conversation rather than a long one.

Read the column that sounds like you. The other one is where you may be in ten years, and it is the same plan.

How the work goes

Four steps, and none of them is a sales meeting.

01

Listen

Where you are today and where you want to be: what you have, what matters to you, what concerns you.

02

Lay it out

Kasey works through everything you shared and puts together a plan made for you.

03

Decide together

We present the plan and talk it through. It is your money, and you decide what is done with it.

04

Stay in it

When life moves, we move with it. Reviews keep your goals, your risk and your investments in step.

Common questions

Asked often, answered plainly.

All questions

How much does it cost to work with you?

Our initial meeting is complimentary. From there, we have various ways to work with us that have different costs. You get to pick the one that fits you best.

How much money do I need to retire?

That is a great question, and it is one I cannot answer without learning more about you. We have to know things like your budget, income, debt, current savings and other important facts. I would love the opportunity to get to know you better so I can give you more insight.

Should I invest or pay down debt?

We work with you to gather information and understand your current situation as well as your future plans. That helps us provide advice on what is right for you at this time. Let us walk you through the process so we can determine the right answer for you.
